The latest update in Fayetteville for more housing is a permit approval for townhouses, single-family homes, and commercial units on Old Missouri Rd. 

• Going up: The plan is for a row of 30 townhouses, 10 single-family homes, and four commercial units to go on a 39-acre site near the intersection of Old Missouri Rd and Rolling Hills Drive in east Fayetteville. 
• Road changes: Rolling Hills Drive is set to undergo a couple of other projects as well. It will be completely redesigned from College Ave and Old Missouri Road and extended to the west toward Fiesta Square, which will include a redesign of the shopping center parking lot.
