Fayetteville Seeks Community Help in Naming Cultural Arts Corridor

City officials are seeking the public's help in naming Fayetteville's Cultural Arts Corridor, which will be located by the Razorback Greenway to Dickson Street and Prairie Street.

  • The corridor is envisioned to connect a number of public spaces, including the Walton Arts Center, TheatreSquared, Nadine Baum Studios and the Fayetteville Public Library.
  • A campaign naming website was created to provide those interested with details and tips to come up with the perfect name for the corridor.
  • Inspiration can be drawn from other established public spaces such as Gathering Place in Tulsa, Citygarden in St. Louis, Millennium Park or The 606 in Chicago and the Atlanta BeltLine. -Fayetteville Flyer
  • Location, design, experience, history, community and art are all variables being considered in the naming process.
  • Participants can submit a name by Feb. 28. Be sure to join in The People's Panel to provide additional feedback and vote on a favorite name after submissions close.
