Any readers out there in Fayetteville? Well, you can rejoice, because there's a new independent bookstore coming to town.

• New on the block: Independent bookstore Pearl's Books will be opening its first storefront location this fall. It will be just off Fayetteville Square, where the Cask & Grove store used to be on Center Street.
• Renaissance? There seems to be a resurgence of independent bookstores in the area. There's Two Friends in Bentonville (highlighted earlier this week) and Once Upon a Time, which has had a location in Springdale but opened another location in Bentonville last fall.
