Produced by Fayettevlle-based Rockhill Studios, the civil-war era story Freedom's Path will debut on Feb 3, showing locally at AMC Fiesta Square in Fayetteville.

• The plot: According to Screenrant, the story follows the Union soldier William, who intentionally injures himself and deserts battle to avoid death but gets caught up in the crossfires of Confederates hunting a group of Black fighters. 
• Hey, I've been there: The movie was primarily filmed in the fall of 2019 at multiple Northwest Arkansas locations like Prairie Grove Battlefield Park, War Eagle Mill, Lincoln, Cane Hill, and more.
