As home prices in our region rise to record highs and inventory falls near record lows, it has become increasingly difficult to find that dream home.

• Hasta la vista: Anecdotal evidence from local agents suggests they're routinely seeing offers at $10-20,000 over list price with cash to back it up.

• In Northwest Arkansas in the second half of 2020, the average price of homes listed for sale on the MLS database was $390,641, an increase of 30.6% from $299,083 in the same period in 2015.

• "We'll take it!" Some home buyers attribute the hot housing market to the large corporate offices in NWA - bringing in more and more families to the area.
