A Bridge to Home

New Beginnings NWA

On the south side of Fayetteville, New Beginnings is building shelters for people experiencing homelessness in NWA. The community is hoping to welcome its first residents in July.

  • A helping hand: Homelessness in NWA has seen significant shifts over the last ten years. New Beginnings estimated that there are nearly 400 people experiencing homelessness in the region.
  • Tiny homes: The project is not just about housing. Each shelter is similar to a basic tiny home, and will include a bed, an outlet, and heating and air conditioning. New Beginnings is hoping to create a community of neighbors who are more than just people who live near each other.
