Honor Flight Of The Ozarks Extends Service To Northwest Arkansas

Honor Flight of the Ozarks

Honor Flight of the Ozarks has extended its reach to include Benton and Washington Counties, allowing the veterans of Northwest Arkansas to be honored with a day trip to Washington, D.C., for a tour of the capital's memorials.

  • Memorial tour: The Honor Flight Network is a nationwide nonprofit made up of independent, regional hubs which give veterans an opportunity to witness the nation's monuments that were built in their honor. An estimated 43,000 veterans live in Benton and Washington Counties combined.
  • In the service: Veterans who served in World War II, the Korean War, the Vietnam War, Desert Shield/Storm, or any veterans who are critically ill are eligible for an Honor Flight. The first Honor Flight of the Ozarks will take off on May 17. The May flight is full, but registrations are open for the Aug 23 and Oct 25 flights.

If you know an eligible veteran, connect them with Honor Flight of the Ozarks HERE.
