The unemployment rate has dropped from 7.4 percent to 7.3 percent
There was no media in the room. The press conference was held virtually.
In a meeting hosted last Friday in the Governor’s conference room, an individual in the meeting later tested positive
The Governor was notified on Monday morning, and there were questions regarding his exposure.
The Governor was tested Monday morning, and had a negative antigen and negative PCR test
The Governor is limiting meetings out of an abundance of caution – Due to social distancing protocols taken during the meeting, the Department of Health has provided direction to the governor that he does not need to quarantine, but should limit his public exposure
He will continue tests on Wednesday and Friday of this week, and Monday of next.
