UAMS and Washington Regional are joining forces to create a new internal medicine residency program here in NWA. 

• Welcome: The program will bring eight medical residents to NWA each year as they train to be skilled internists. WRMC has built a brand new 6,000-sq-ft GME Suite to house the residents. 
• Training: The residency will provide training in clinical reasoning, critical thinking, teaching, research, and health care delivery with a focus on diverse and underserved populations in NWA.
