This week J.B. Hunt released its fourth-quarter earnings statement and announced plans to give nearly $9m in appreciation bonuses to full-time employees.

• By the numbers: The company reported earnings of over $201m compared with the $242m earned in the fourth quarter of 2021. Revenue saw a jump this quarter, bringing in $3.64b over last year's $3.49b.
• Saying thanks: J.B. Hunt will award over $8.8m in appreciation bonuses to full-time drivers, maintenance, and office employees.
