Job Path in NWA Helps Students With Disabilities Succeed In Workforce

NWA Daily

Job Path in Northwest Arkansas has a mission to find barriers to employment and provide the support needed for everyone to feel fulfilled in their work. The program, partnered with Arkansas Rehabilitation Services (ARS), assists specifically young adults, ages 16-24, with disabilities to prepare for the workforce.

  • Services: The program aids a hundred NWA youth annually in identifying what they love and equips them to be productive members of society. Some of the program services are vocational counsel, job placement and training, summer internships, transportation, and everything needed to ensure long-term success.
  • Connections: The program is free for students who enroll, but services are still available to students after graduation through ARS. Job Path students are currently working all over NWA, but the program is always looking for new employers and business partners.
