On May 6, Fayetteville's Mount Sequoyah Center will fill with local creatives and entertainment industry leaders as it hosts the first-ever AMMPLIFY, or Arts & Music Mentorship Program and Festival, a multi-disciplinary festival and training opportunity for the region's emerging artists.

• Arts apprenticeship: Over the past few months, six mentors in graphic design, visual arts, AV technology, music management, music performance, and arts management have guided 30 participants through the process of creating this festival-style event on the mountain.
• Party on the mountain: The Main Event will take place May 6, from noon to midnight, featuring a full day of interactive workshops with industry leaders, refreshments from local food trucks and breweries, art markets, and performances capped by headliner Adam Faucett.
