Northwest Arkansas’ leading blockchain company, Mycelium Networks, is celebrating its second birthday this month and all it has accomplished in the past two years. 

• Big accomplishments: Mycelium has built one of the nation’s densest technology testbeds with the help of the NWA community, and through its innovative business model, the company has bolstered widespread acceptance of decentralized networks here, years before they become mainstream.  
• Moving forward: From a small operation in a Fayetteville kitchen to a thriving company, Mycelium now employs 20 individuals with plans to hire more in year three. The company is also committed to another big project over the next year, including launching new technologies to further advance innovation in NWA.
