This Sunday, a new local non-profit is hosting a virtual event for women, and the topic is grief.
- Standing together: Resilient Black Women (RBW) is a new non-profit here in Northwest Arkansas dedicated to educating and supporting the Black, Latinx, Indigenous, and Asian-Pacific Islander women of our community with regard to mental health. The founders are Licensed Professional Counselors, and for Sunday’s event wish to guide women through processing grief through culture and art.
- For all: During the event, there will be 3 community guest speakers and 2 spoken word performers. Folks from all walks of life are welcome to attend. The founders of RBW wish their nonprofit to be a safe place for everyone.
