Last week, the Arkansas Council on Future Mobility delivered the Arkansas Future Mobility Report outlining goals to make the state the global leader in the future mobility sector by 2030, and our little corner of the state will be a key contributor to that end.

• Take to the skies: Arkansas has been nationally recognized as one of the most prepared states for drone commerce, an opportunity being intentionally pursued in Northwest Arkansas by companies like Walmart and DroneUp.
• Learning: Recognizing the powerful role education will play in achieving the state's mobility goals, one recommendation was to further invest in an Institute of Advanced Mobility at the U of A in Fayetteville.
