Northwest Arkansas couple Ashley Gibbs and Ryan Sheedy recently launched a medical app called Mejo that helps parents and caregivers simplify and organize children's medical and care information.

• From the heart: Gibbs and Sheedy have three young boys, one with a rare medical condition. Through this, they realized there really wasn't a good way to track and report medical information for children, so they developed the app at first just to solve this problem for their family.
• Making moves: After bootstrapping the app's development, Sheedy has now been joined by another co-founder, Bret Koncak, Mejo has taken on angel investors, and the Company is looking to raise a pre-seed round of funding.
