Northwest Arkansas’s Sales Tax Revenue Increased 13.8% In October Report

Northwest Arkansas’s big four towns have collected a combined $85.8m from sales-tax revenue so far this year, $10.4m more than this time last year. 

  • Down: Bentonville was the only city to see drop in year-over-year revenue in the October report, coming in 4.8% less than last year, likely due to rebates. 
  • Up: Springdale reported a 25.6% increase over last year, Fayetteville a 16% increase, and Rogers a 10.2% increase.
