In a continuation of the effort to draw talent to Northwest Arkansas, the NWA Council is offering newcomers $10k in bitcoin and a new bike. 

• No. 1: NWA is the first region in the country to offer cryptocurrency to potential new residents. The Council is extending its invitation to entrepreneurial individuals in the tech sector primarily as NWA is seeing an advancement of blockchain enabled technologies.
• New neighbors: The LifeWorks Here initiative began in November 2020, starting out with a cash incentive, which is still available to STEAM professionals. Since the launch, the initiative has received over 35k applications from all 50 states and more than 115 countries.
