According to the Northwest Arkansas Board of Realtors, home sales in Northwest Arkansas saw an 11.6% decrease in 2022 due to rising mortgage rates and low inventory; however, sale values increased.

• Home supply: The region experienced a decrease in inventory, with 10,920 residential properties sold in Benton and Washington counties in 2022 compared to the previous year's 12,349.
• On the rise: Home values soared, with the median price of homes sold rising 21.1% to $326,000, and the combined earnings on sales of single-family properties in the two counties reached $4.24b.
