Officials revealed next steps and the updated name of a new four-year medical school in Bentonville to begin construction in the spring. 

• Structure for care: What was previously called Whole Health School of Medicine and Health Sciences, the independent, non-profit medical school, is now called the Alice L. Walton School of Medicine. It is a sister organization to Bentonville non-profit Whole Health Institute and will integrate conventional medicine with holistic principles and self-care practices. 
• A healing space: The school will be a 154,000 sq. ft building on approximately 20 acres east of Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art along NE J St. The design will incorporate pedestrian and bike networks along with landscape areas such as foraging and healing gardens, urban farming space, woodland meditation, and more.
