No. 8 Arkansas opens the 2023 season with a big challenge this weekend, taking on three Big 12 teams in the College Baseball Showdown. 

• Big three: Arkansas will open against the Longhorns tonight at 7p, followed by No. 15 TCU on Saturday and No. 9 Oklahoma State Sunday afternoon. 
• On the mound: The Razorbacks have been dealt a blow with the loss of starter Jaxon Wiggins but plan on leading with Hagen Smith, Will McEntire, and Hunter Hollan this opening weekend.
