The City of Fayetteville Parks and Recreation Division's new program, Outdoor Fayetteville, has released its 2021 event calendar. The programs will give families with novice to intermediate-level experience the opportunity to learn outdoor skills using equipment provided by Parks and Recreation. Day hikes, sunset paddles and backcountry cooking clinics to extended, overnight backpacking and canoeing/kayaking excursions are all included in the program. The program is intended to provide an outlet for individuals and families to build stronger relationships, connect with the outdoors, and build new skills under the guidance of experienced professionals. Registration is now open and is available on first-come first-serve basis.
