We’re going to Lisbon, Portugal! Well, the design team of University of Arkansas’ Adohi Hall is. 

• Pioneering venture: The residence hall was chosen to be on a shortlist of projects for the World Architecture Festival (WAF). Adohi Hall in Fayetteville made it in the category for the “Best Use of Certified Timber,” which isn’t surprising considering it is the “first large-scale mass timber building in the nation.” 
• Pressure's on: With a record number of entries this year, 496 projects were shortlisted from 62 counties around the world. The teams will present live in front of a judging panel and compete at WAF in Lisbon Dec. 1-3.
