There’s a new opportunity for production lovers in Northwest Arkansas starting Tuesday, Jan. 11. 

• Learning show biz: Founded by a former Razorback Football player, The Music Education Initiative is presenting their first Production Education and Technical Training Workshop. It will be at George’s Majestic Lounge in Fayetteville on Jan. 11, and other workshops will take place in Bentonville, Springdale, and Rogers at later dates. 
• Get educated: The workshops are for those interested in careers in the live production workforce and want to participate in a technical training program. They are geared toward anyone who is a High School junior and older. Participants will be trained by professionals who are looking for workforce personnel.
