Return Late Books For Free During Fayetteville Public Library's Amnesty Week

Fayetteville Public Library

Fayetteville Public Library is providing a chance to clear your overdue fees and start fresh during its Amnesty Week from Apr 23-30.

  • Fee forgiveness: If you have overdue books at home that are still in good condition, you can return them during Amnesty Week and have any fees forgiven. Any current late fees on your account for items already returned can be waived by visiting the library in person, via email, or by phone.
  • Returned: Late fees will only be forgiven if you visit or contact the library during Amnesty Week, so don't miss your window! The last time FPL hosted Amnesty Week in 2016, it recovered over 2,800 overdue items valued at over $60,000.
