In the face of an expensive housing market, a team led by Smart Growth America made assessments to provide informed recommendations for housing affordability in NWA. 

• Direction: The team produced a new study that offers policy-based solutions to face housing challenges head on. The report examines how the region’s housing supply and prices are being affected, and functions as a roadmap for housing strategies.
• Game plan: In the report, the team advises cross-sector collaboration, education and outreach, and strategic zoning code reforms. Access to safe and quality housing is possible for all NWA residents if we work together, which we are pretty good at.
