SafeWise, a home security and home safety guide, recently released its 7th annual Safest Cities Report which included Arkansas' safest towns. Here is what they found:

• Topping the list for the second year, was Cave Springs. With a violent crime rate of only 0.5 and property crime rate of 3.6 per 1,000 people, these are decreases from the previous two years and well below Arkansas' averages.

• Centerton and Pea Ridge get the award for most improved from the previous year both jumping 8 spots to number 10 and 18 safest cities in Arkansas this year.

• Other notable shoutouts include Bella Vista at No. 5 and Bentonville at No. 13 - which was the largest town in the top 20 safest towns in Arkansas.

For reference, the average violent crime rate in Arkansas is 5.8 per 1,000, and property crime is 28.6 per 1,000. You can read the full report HERE
