Simple+Sweet Founder Partners with Transfix to Further Alleviate Child Hunger

Simple+Sweet

With catering fees paid for by Transfix, one of the the attending companies at Freightwaves' Future of Supply Chain conference, Simple+Sweet was able to feed more than 5,000 families in Northwest Arkansas.

  • Staying busy: Coleman Warren, Simple+Sweet's founder, has been keeping busy since he started the mobile ice cream company. He has since graduated from the U of A with a dual industrial engineering and political science degree, was recognized as a Rhodes Scholar, and is getting married this summer. He has done all this while staying focused on combating child hunger in NWA.
  • Event-Full: With an eye on sustainability, Transfix knew it wanted to partner with a local "superhero" to make an impact on the region during the first Future of Supply Chain conference. Knowing that Warren uses Simple+Sweet proceeds to combat food insecurity, Transfix invited him to cater ice cream at the event while the Company paid the tab.
