If you see smoke in the air on Saturday, Sept. 25, it’s most likely folks barbecuing in Rogers. 

• The 6th annual Frisco Inferno Barbecue Competition & Tasting is happening in Downtown Rogers, and anyone can enter a team and bring their smoker to participate. There is an entry fee, but the winners get cash prizes. 
• Kingsford is sponsoring the event, bringing live music and donations to educate attendees about the Black history of pit barbecue.
