Springdale Plans Realignment Of Razorback Greenway At Emma Ave Crossing

City Of Springdale

As part of a $4m enhancement to Downtown Springdale provided by the Walton Family Foundation and the City of Springdale, plans are underway to realign a section of the Razorback Greenway where it crosses Emma Ave.

  • Improvements: The project aims to enhance accessibility, lighting, and landscaping in the area and will include gathering spaces on either side of the trail between Meadow Avenue and Emma Ave while linking Turnbow Park and Shiloh Square to Luther George Park, which is currently undergoing a renovation of its own.
  • In the meantime: Emma Avenue will be closed between Holcomb Street and Spring Street until Spring 2023 for the realignment, but sidewalks will remain open and the project won't stop Ozarktober or the Christmas Parade.
