We stopped by The Buttered Biscuit's VIP Party last week as they unveiled some delicious new menu items and took our tastebuds for a ride into flavor town on the new Biscuit Bus, which can be found at Pinnacle Heights or scheduled for private events.

• Southern hospitality: The local breakfast spot is known for handcrafted biscuits, benedicts, and waffles, made with fantastic attention to detail and an atmosphere of southern hospitality. They offer weekday kids-eat-free deals on chocolate chip pancakes; much of the menu can be made gluten-free!
• New favorites: We genuinely loved them all, but the new menu items we can't stop thinking about are the Red Velvet Pancakes and the Deep South Sandwich – a biscuit loaded with crispy fried chicken on a pimento spread topped with bacon jam and in-house pickled zucchini.
