Northwest Arkansas has become a world-class destination for cycling, exemplified by the U.S. World Cup drawing some of the nation's best bikers to Fayetteville last week. Local nonprofit Trailblazers has had much to do with transforming the area into such a bike-friendly mecca.

• Leading the way: Trailblazers has contributed to the design and development of many hard and soft trails throughout NWA and provided community outreach and advocacy like adult first rides, getting bikes in schools, and promoting accessibility for those who are differently-abled.
• Join the ride: May is Bike Month, and Trailblazers is calling all of Northwest Arkansas to participate in the National Bike Month Challenge, where individuals and businesses can rack up points for minutes spent riding and win amazing prizes.
