Tyson Foods Addresses Hunger & Food Insecurity

Tyson Foods is partnering again with Feeding America member food banks and is committed to giving $2.5m to address food insecurity. 

  • Nourish: In addition to funds, Tyson is giving 2.5 million lbs of meat, or roughly 10 million meals, to help alleviate hunger. $1m of the donation will go toward improving access to nutritious food among those experiencing high rates of food insecurity. The rest of the donation will go toward the expansion of food banks. 
  • Local benefit: Since 2006, Tyson has donated nearly $3.5m to Feeding America and $223m of protein to food banks such as the Northwest Arkansas Food Bank in Lowell.
