In April, NASA selected Canoo vehicles for the first lunar landing in 50 years. Now, Walmart has signed an agreement to purchase 4,500 all-electric delivery vehicles with the option to purchase up to 10,000 units. 

• Clean delivery: Walmart is starting its purchases with the Lifestyle Delivery Vehicle (LDV), which will be used to deliver online orders sustainably, contributing to Walmart's goal to achieve zero emissions by 2040. 
• In the works: Headquartered in Bentonville, Canoo has engineered the LDV for high-frequency stop-and-go deliveries and speedy vehicle-to-door drop-off, including grocery and food/meal delivery. The LDV is expected to hit the streets in 2023, but Canoo and Walmart have plans to kick off advanced deliveries to refine and finalize vehicle configuration.
