Events are few and far between this time of year, but we still managed to find some fun ones going on in NWA this weekend...

• Recommitment Celebration: NWA MLK Council is hosting their 27th Annual Recommitment Celebration this Saturday from 5-9p.
• Comic convention: NWA Comic Con is this weekend at the Rogers Convention Center. The event is all day both Saturday and Sunday.
• Eyes to the sky: Book your bald eagle watch tour this Saturday morning at Hobbs State Park.
• Pass the popcorn: Fay Film Festival has a mini film series this evening that includes Indie Films from Central and South America.
• Modern classic: The 5 Browns will be performing Saturday evening at the Walton Arts Center.
• Still, Life: 21c Bentonville has an opening ceremony for its new art exhibit Saturday evening from 4-6p. You can RSVP here.
