It's Mother's Day weekend in Northwest Arkansas, and we're here with a few ideas to help you enjoy it with your moms, grandmothers, aunts, and significant female role models!

  • Local finds: Find locally made goods at the Benton County Fairgrounds during the 7th Annual Spring Market this Friday, May 12, and Saturday, May 13.
  • There better be M&M's: Live art, music, and kids' activities will fill the Lower Ramble in Fayetteville for Trail Mix this Friday, May 12, at 5:30p.
  • At the movies: Indie Films Artosphere, a collaboration by Fayetteville Film Fest and Walton Arts Center inspired by nature and sustainability, will show this Friday, May 12, at 8p.
  • Hangin' around: Don't miss the Hanging Basket Sale at Peel Compton Museum & Botanical Garden from May 11-13, and find other great gifts in the Peel Museum Store.
  • At the Railyard: Catch one of the shows at the Butterfield Stage in Downtown Rogers this weekend presented by Railyard Live, with a Local Showcase on Thursday, 80's tribute band Members Only on Friday, and 8-piece party band JukeBoxx on Saturday.
  • Hop in the saddle: Bentonville has multiple cycling events this weekend, from locally organized rides to events led by national organizations.
  • STEM Stuff: The NWA STEM Day will be hosted at the Northwest Arkansas Mall in Fayetteville this Saturday, May 13, from 11a-2p.
  • Just a little: Dozens of makers and artists, local food, drinks, and music will gather in the heart of Downtown Springdale for The Little Craft Show this Saturday, May 13, from 10a-5p at Shiloh Square.
  • Symphonic stroll: The Artosphere Festival Orchestra will perform along the trails during the Crystal Bridges Garden Party this Saturday, May 12, from 12-4p as visitors view art, participate in activities, and enjoy refreshments from local food trucks!
  • Homecoming: Shiloh Museum of Ozark History opens its newest exhibit, Ozark Home: Beyond the Frame, this Saturday, May 13, 3-5p displaying the fascinating objects and art that showcase the rich history of life in the Ozarks.
  • Garden date: Celebrate Mom at the Botanical Garden of the Ozarks' Mother's Day in the Garden event on Sunday, May 14, from 9a-4p.
