Balancing family and work can be tough to manage. Three Arkansas cities make it a little easier though, evidenced by their top 10 ranking for the best cities for working parents in the U.S.

• The big three: Fayetteville landed at No. 7 in SmartAsset's study best place to life as a working parent. The cities were graded on ten metrics, and Fayetteville stood out in half of the topics assessed.
• Splitting hairs: Fayetteville ranked lower than the other two Arkansas cities largely due to its higher housing costs; however, it had lower unemployment than the other two. Jonesboro and Conway were the other two Arkansas cities at No. 4 and No. 5.
