The Northwest Arkansas Workforce Development program provides resources for job seekers and employers.

• Training: The Workforce Development program is a part of the NWA Economic Development District (NWAEDD) covering a 9 county region. The program provides opportunities for eligible applicants to receive free career guidance and hands-on training under the Workforce Innovation Opportunities Act.
• Investments: Eligible applicants are disadvantaged adults and youth who have a barrier to employment. That could be anything from being a single parent, having a low income, or a basic skill deficiency. Those proven eligible can receive financial assistance as well as career advancement. In the last two years, NWAEDD invested nearly $3m in the NWA regional economy.
