Convenient and effective transportation has been a key factor in Northwest Arkansas’ economic growth, and we have Northwest Arkansas National Airport (XNA) to thank for that in part. 

• Looking back: Over the last year, XNA has delivered on 10 new nonstop routes, making a total of 27 destinations from our local airport. XNA is projecting 750,000 enplanements for 2022.
• To come: Planned improvements include a new access road to the airport, renovations to the taxiway and entire lobby, installation of art and murals, 2 new gates, a sky bridge, a nearby hotel, and potentially an airport lounge.
