Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced business bookkeeper/accountant to join our dynamic team. This role is ideal for a stay-at-home parent, someone seeking work-life balance, or a small firm interested in a unique and exciting client.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain financial records using QuickBooks or any suitable ERP product.
- Handle billing processes and manage all expenses.
- Perform quarterly book closing activities, including taxes.
- Administer basic payroll for a team of fewer than 10 employees.
- Collaborate closely with the Founder for strategic financial decision-making.
- Contribute to budgeting, financial planning, accounts payable/receivable, and comprehensive payroll management.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in bookkeeping/accounting, particularly in a business environment.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks or similar accounting software; openness to different ERP systems.
- Ability to work limited hours per week/month, with flexibility in dictating billing dates and limiting activity to certain periods of the month.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
